A native of Van Nuys, California, Neil Looy has garnered over 34 years of increasingly diverse flying experience. Neil is an Airline Transport Pilot with Learjet and Gulfstream type ratings, and holds DC-10, DC-8 and B727 flight engineer ratings.
A graduate of Arizona State University, Neil is the President and owner of Corporate Air Parts, Inc. and Aerobatic Film Systems, LLC. He graduated from USAF Pilot Training and USAF Fighter Pilot and Instructor Pilot Schools and has flown some of the most interesting aircraft in the world – the F4 Phantom, the Lockheed Jetstar, Learjets, twin Cessnas, his Pitts S2B and Bell Helicopters.
A founding member of the Motion Picture Pilots Association (www.moviepilots.com), Neil has been a motion picture pilot and Aerial Coordinator for over 23 years and has worked on numerous major projects for the motion picture and television industry. He is a member of the Directors Guild, Screen Actors Guild, and holds a current FAA Motion Picture and Television Flight Operations Manual.
Neil is an officer for and volunteers with the Santa Monica Mounted Police. Besides his wife Donna, daughters Jennifer and Crystal, his other treasure is his horse, Frankie.
